Tuakana teina

Tuakana teina means "older helping younger."  Sometimes it can be the other way around!

We love working with our Room 6 buddies.  

Today we played some drama games called "Dude!" and "Freak out!"

Welcome to Room 3!

We are a fantastic bunch of Year 1 and 2 students. 

There are 2 teachers in our room. Ms Boulding teaches on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and Mrs Walklin teaches on Thursday and Friday.

Sometimes Mrs Prendergast helps us out too!

                                                  
SUPER KID

We take turns to be the daily Super Kid. The Super Kid has some special jobs to help the day run smoothly!

BRING AND BRAG
Each day some children share something special for Bring and Brag. We are getting better at speaking to an audience and listening to a speaker. Check out some of our Bring and Brag photos below!

Nitro Circus Live - Top 10 Craziest Tricks

Check out the You Tube clip we watched this week!  We are working on recounts this term, check out our writing.

Today we watched a video of Nitro Circus people doing flips!  A person had no hands!  It made me scared and excited.  I liked it.  If they didn't practise they will seriously hurt themselves.

We watched the Nitro Circus on You Tube.  They did awesome stunts!  My coolest stunt was the ‘Nitro Bomb’ because there was fire coming out of nowhere.  They did really cool backflips.  Why are they risking their life?  I felt awesome!

Today I watched You Tube and I saw them doing backflips and letting go of the motorbikes and they were doing tricks.  I thought it was awesome! I was happy and I was surprised.  I loved it!  I liked it when there was fire too!
