Junior Cross Country

It looks like the weather might be kind to us this week, so we will have the Junior Cross Country on Thursday afternoon!

Dairy Farm Visit

On Monday Rooms One and Three went to the McKay’s dairy farm.

First I got on the bus.  When I got to the farm I stood in the shelter.  Then Heather talked to Rooms 3 and 1.

Next I put my bag in the truck.

After that we got in groups and I went with Calvin to see the cows.  I fed the cows swede.

Finally we went to the school.

Dairy Farm Visit

Recently Rooms One and Three went to the McKay's dairy farm for a visit.  This term we are learning about Our Community and a dairy farm is a big part of our Paroa Community.

A big thank-you to Heather and Calvin for a fantastic trip AND to Dairy NZ for funding the bus trip to and from the farm.

Today we used Explain Everything to write facts about Sea Creatures we learnt about during Seaweek.  After we wrote about them we had to draw a picture or take a picture.   Our next step will be to record ourselves talking about our work.

Ipad Fun!

Room 3 are hard at work learning more about the ipads.  We have an ipad buddy.  We are learning to use the stylus pens and do the ipad hug when we carry them!

I am getting super excited to see my class on Tuesday!!   We are going to have a fun and busy year.  Enjoy this great weather while it lasts.  Ms B
